Terms of Use

1. About SUQQ

SUQQ is an online marketplace for the United Arab Emirates. Most products are listed and sold by independent sellers; some are sold by SUQQ directly. Where a seller is the merchant, your contract of sale is with that seller, and SUQQ provides the platform, the checkout and the customer-service channel. The product page names the seller before you buy.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and the details you give must be accurate — in particular your email address and phone number, because that is how we tell you where your order is.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, abuse of returns or coupons, or anything unlawful.

To close your account, write to support@suqq.com. Records we are legally required to keep — invoices in particular — survive closure.

3. Prices, and how an order is formed

Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges are shown before you pay.

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded sale. The contract forms when we dispatch the item. Until then we may decline the order — because the item sold out, because a price was listed in error, or because the order fails our fraud checks. If you have already paid for something we decline, you get that money back in full.

Prices are recalculated on our servers when you check out. A price shown to your browser is for display; the price charged is the seller’s current one.

4. Delivery

We deliver within the UAE. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees — customs, weather and courier capacity all move them.

You are responsible for giving an address someone can reach. If you share a precise location at checkout, it is passed to the courier so the driver can find you; sharing it is optional and declining changes nothing about your order. Where a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody could be reached after reasonable attempts, a redelivery charge may apply.

5. Returns and refunds

Return windows depend on the category and are shown on the product page before you buy. Items must come back in the condition described in that window, with their packaging where the listing says so.

Some things cannot be returned once opened or used — for hygiene, safety or licensing reasons. That is stated on the product page, not hidden here.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method or to your SUQQ wallet, as agreed when the return is raised. Start one at Account › Returns.

6. Payment

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout, and depend on your emirate and your order. Cash on delivery, where offered, must be paid in full to the driver.

Card payments are processed by Network International (N-Genius). You enter your card details on their secure payment page; SUQQ does not see or store card numbers, and we hold no card on file for any customer.

7. Coupons, wallet and gift cards

• Coupons have conditions — a minimum spend, an expiry, a limit on how many times you or anyone may use them, sometimes first-order-only. The conditions shown on the coupon are the ones that apply.
• Coupons and wallet credit have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• We may void a code obtained by exploiting an error, or used through multiple accounts to get round a per-customer limit.
• Wallet credit is spendable on SUQQ only. There is currently no way to withdraw it, and the wallet page does not pretend otherwise.

8. Reviews and what you post

Reviews should be your genuine experience of something you bought. We moderate them, and we remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, off-topic, contain personal data, or are written to promote or damage a seller rather than to inform a shopper. Your own reviews and their moderation status are visible at Account › Reviews.

By posting, you give us permission to display your review on SUQQ alongside the product.

9. Listings and accuracy

Sellers are responsible for their listings — the description, images, specifications and legality of what they sell. We work to keep the catalogue accurate and we act on reports, but we do not manufacture or inspect every item.

If something arrives materially different from its listing, that is a return, and your statutory rights as a UAE consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.

10. Using the site

Do not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the catalogue;
• probe or interfere with the site’s security, or try to reach accounts that are not yours;
• place orders you do not intend to pay for, or abuse returns and refunds;
• use SUQQ to sell anything unlawful, counterfeit or restricted.

11. Intellectual property

The SUQQ name, logo, site design and software are ours. Product names, brands and images belong to their owners and appear here to describe what is for sale. Nothing on this site transfers any of it to you.

12. Liability

We work to keep SUQQ available and accurate, but we do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to your statutory consumer rights, our liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

13. Product safety and legal compliance

Use the site in line with the law, including export controls, sanctions and consumer protection rules — we may refuse a transaction where a legal restriction applies. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using a product, particularly for installation, connected devices and anything software-enabled, which may carry its own licence terms or need connectivity we do not control.

Some products — hazardous materials, age-restricted or otherwise regulated goods — need special handling or documentation, and we may decline a sale where that cannot reasonably be met. If a manufacturer or regulator issues a recall or safety notice, we will try to reach affected customers and ask you to follow the instructions given.

We expect honest dealing from customers, sellers and partners alike, and may act on reasonable suspicion of fraud, bribery or corrupt conduct connected to a transaction here.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover claims against us arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the site, breach of the law, infringement of someone else’s rights, or content you post.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account — without notice where that is reasonably necessary — if we believe it has been used to break these terms, commit fraud, abuse promotions, infringe intellectual property, or harm customers, sellers or us. Closing an account does not cancel obligations that already existed, and the parts of these terms meant to outlast it — the liability limits, intellectual property and dispute provisions — continue to apply.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to its courts. Please contact Customer Service first — most things are settled there — but nothing in this paragraph prevents either of us from seeking urgent relief from a court.

These terms are written in English. Where a translation is provided and the two disagree, the English version governs.

17. General

These terms and our other published policies are the whole agreement between us. If any part is found invalid the rest still applies, and not enforcing a right on one occasion does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — natural disasters, strikes, government action and the like. New categories, services, marketplace features, payment methods or programmes we introduce are governed by these terms, together with any additional terms specific to them.

18. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed in substance, and the terms in force when you placed an order are the ones that apply to that order.
