Function: A mass air flow sensor calculates the oxygen flowing to your engine for the ideal air-to-fuel ratio and helps to increase engine efficiency by doing so. The engine throttle opens when you press on the gas, allowing more air to flow around the hot wire. An electronic chip and PCM work with the airflow signal to calculate how much fuel needs to be injected. This measurement helps keep the air to fuel ratio at the optimal level and gas mileage at as bay.. Features: Precision manufactured and assembled sensing elements are used to accurately measure air flow and restore a vehicle's original drivability; Qualified equipment and state-of-the-art testing, coupled with 100% rigorous quality inspection, ensures an impeccable customer experience; Fast response time and durability; Lightweight and portable, easy to install and clean, and directly replaceable..
