Smokestop filter for Classic 500/600 Series is designed to absorb todays common gaseous pollutants like Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), traffic exhaust, smog, odors, smoke and airborne chemicals through high amounts of activated carbon. Ideal for use in rooms where constant removal of such pollutants is required. Classic SmokeStop filters contain carbon which is extremely efficient at removing both particle and gaseous (odors, exhaust, smoke odors, and chemicals) pollutants from the air. Whereas Classic Particle filters are highly efficient in the removal of particle pollutants like pollen, dust, mold and viruses. This filter is compatible with the following Classic family models: 501, 503, 505, 510, 550E, 555EB, 580i, 601, 603, 605, 650E and 680i. • SMOKE STOP FILTER: Classic SmokeStop filters contain carbon which is extremely efficient at removing both particle and gaseous (odors, exhaust, smoke odors, and chemicals) pollutants from the air. • HEPASilent™ TECHNOLOGY: HEPASilent™ technology combines electrostatic and mechanical filtration to capture tiny airborne pollutants like pollen, dust and smoke, faster and quieter than traditional HEPA filter. • EASY REPLACEMENT: To replace your filter (about every 6-12 months), start by unplugging the air purifier. Lift the lid and remove the top filter and then each of the side filters. Insert the replacement filters on the sides first and then the top filter. Replace the lid and plug back in. Easy. • NO CHEMICAL ADDITIVES: Free of chemical additives, this filter uses pure, high-porosity coconut carbon to remove odors. Filter fibers resist bacteria and mold growth. • PREMIUM FILTERS: Unlike generic look-a-likes, genuine Blueair replacement filters are specifically designed to maintain superior performance over time. We recommend changing your filter about once every 6-months when used 24 hours a day.
