Each piece was huge and can definitely cover the whole cheek area. Tried using these for high intensity outdoor sport and it didn't work out too well (was flapping a bit - like in the photo) so stick to the low intensity occasions! Wasn't as sticky as I had imagined but it did have a cooling effect.
