If you want extra filler, you can stack two bars on top of each other to make a thicker pad.. Self-adhesive Backing: Each pad comes with self-adhesive backing. To remove the backing, pull down on black foam first, and then pull up on the adhesive backing after it begins to separate, then apply the sticky side to your boot liner.. Practical Effect: Works effectively for people with narrow ankles to rectify heel lift, eliminates blisters on the back of the heel from rubbing in the boot and brings snug boot fit.. Instruction: Apply the pads behind the protruding ankle bones on your boot liners. Then use the self-adhesive backing to stick each pad to the liner. If necessary, cover each pad with duct tape for added security.
