It is super moist! it doesnt leave residue but instead it is moisturizing. for cleansing heavier makeup its better to use a makeup remover first, but it works well for sunscreen and light makeup. there has not been any irritation

I have sensitive, dry skin & wow. This is a game changer for me. I use a cleansing balm beforehand if I wear makeup or if I'm not, I use a cleansing water. This has been so gentle on my skin! I didn't even know milk cleansers were a thing. I'm so grateful to the person on Reddit that suggested this! I can't really speak if this cleanses effectively on it's own, but I do love it.
