KSECRET Seoul 1988 Serum: Retinal Liposome 2%+Black Ginseng 30ml
The 1988 Serum is surprisingly gentle for a retinal product, but you still need to be careful if you have eczema (like me). Since retinal is stronger than regular retinol, I was nervous it would trigger an eczema flare-up. Fortunately, because it uses encapsulated liposomes and nourishing black ginseng, it absorbs smoothly without the usual stinging or harsh peeling. It leaves skin looking smoother and refreshed, but if your eczema is currently active, inflamed, or flaking, then I would skip those areas or sandwich it over a thick moisturizer to avoid irritation.
