Hoya UV-IR Cut Screw-in Camera Lens Filter – 82mm Filter Blocks UV Below 390nm & IR Above 700nm – Multi-Coated Optical Glass & Slim Frame for Digital and Film Cameras

BLOCK UV & IR RAYS FOR SHARPER, CLEANER IMAGES – This UV/IR cut filter eliminates unwanted UV rays below 390nm and IR rays above 700nm, which digital sensors often can’t filter. Improve color accuracy and image clarity.. MULTI-COATED GLASS FOR CRISP, REFLECTION-FREE RESULTS – Engineered with Hoya’s premium multi-coated optical glass minimizes reflections, ghosting, and lens flare. Whether you're photographing outdoor scenes or filming under bright lights, enjoy better clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.. ENGINEERED FOR UNFILTERED CCD and CMOS SENSORS - This is important because unfiltered sensors are extremely susceptible to UV and IR rays just outside the visible spectrum that can have a very negative impact on image quality.. SCREW-IN DESIGN FOR EASY, SECURE ATTACHMENT – The precision-machined 82mm thread ensures a snug, hassle-free fit to your camera lens.. SLIM, LIGHTWEIGHT FRAME TO AVOID VIGNETTING – Built with a slim, durable aluminum frame, the UV/IR Cut filter prevents vignetting.
