Twist dispenser keeps product clean. Not particularly different from many cleansing balms on the market. I feel it doesn’t melt away as easily as some other balms.

I’ve been using the House of Hur Midnight Soothing Cleansing Balm for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly very happy with how it performs. I like to double cleanse at night, especially when I’m wearing sunscreen or makeup, so I’m always looking for a balm that melts everything off gently without irritating my skin. This one has been a really pleasant surprise. First, the packaging feels very sleek and minimal. The jar looks elegant on my skincare shelf, and it’s easy to open and close securely. The balm itself has a smooth, solid texture in the container, but it melts quickly once it comes into contact with the warmth of your hands. You only need a small amount to cover your whole face, which makes the product feel like it will last a good amount of time. When I first apply it to dry skin, it immediately starts to break down makeup, sunscreen, and daily buildup. It spreads very easily without dragging on the skin. I really appreciate how cushiony and silky it feels.

My new favourite oil cleanse! I have dry and sensitive skin and I didnt realise how my skin can feel so clean yet still so bouncy and hydrated. I'm so impressed with the product. It effortlessly melts away makeup, even mascara, without having to vigorously scrub at my skin. The natural black hue allows me to see where the product is applied too, so no missing any areas!

The best cleansing balm I've found for getting off waterproof make-up. And it isn't irritating when I need to scrub at the mascara (and I have has laser eye surgery so this is really saying something). This will be an easy repurchase for me in the future.
