This is not actual steel. It is a magnetically receptive vinyl sheet product. Magnets will stick to it. Magnetically receptive sheeting with adhesive is not a magnet, but magnets are strongly attracted to it, similar to an actual steel sheet. Magnets stick in any orientation... there are no polarity issues like you can get when using magnet-sheet to magnet-sheet. Cuts easily with scissors, hobby knife, or razor blade.
