The Cam Position Sensor Assembly, a crucial element in the Camshaft & Valve system of your Vehivle, plays a primary role in monitoring the position of the camshaft. This information is essential for the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to regulate ignition timing and fuel injection, maintaining optimal engine performance. A failing or non-functional sensor can lead to misfires, poor acceleration, decreased fuel economy, and even engine stalling, potentially posing safety risks.
