I’ve been using the Dr. For Hair Folligen Silk Shampoo for several weeks now, and I wanted to wait a bit before writing my review so I could give an honest opinion based on real use. Overall, I have to say I’m genuinely impressed with how this shampoo performs, especially if you are looking for something that focuses on both scalp care and hair softness. First, the packaging is clean and simple, which I personally like. It looks professional and easy to use in the shower. The bottle dispenses the right amount of product without making a mess, and the size is quite generous for regular use. A little goes a long way, so I don’t feel like I have to use too much each time I wash my hair. When it comes to the texture, the shampoo has a smooth, slightly silky consistency that spreads easily through the hair. It lathers very nicely even with a small amount, which is always a good sign for me. Some shampoos either don’t foam enough or require too much product, but this one feels balanced.

This hair product does its job well, effectively softening my hair and making it more manageable. However, it causes my hair to become greasy faster. The oiliness at the roots is noticeable by evening, which is frustrating. Therefore, I won't recommend it to those with already greasy hair, as it could worsen the issue. It's ideal for dry or normal types seeking moisture. The scent is also too strong. For scent-sensitive users, this might be a deal-breaker. I personally prefer the red one more.
