SOOTHING BODY MASSAGE: Blend with a warming carrier oil (like Mustard or Sesame) and massage into the chest or joints. The natural warmth of the oil helps relax tightness and provides deep physical comfort.. Eases Coughs: Angelica Root Oil is good for easing coughs, especially wet ones. An easy way to get this benefit is to add a few drops to a bowl of steaming water. Place a towel around the back of your head and lean over the bowl, approximately 12 inches from the water, and breathe in the steam.. Angelica root essential oil is obtained by water-steam distillation of the root of Angelica archangelica L. Typically, the plant is uprooted during winter, washed, crushed, and then freshly distilled. Angelica Root Oil blends well with bergamot (Citrus bergamia), clary sage (Salvia sclarea), coriander seed (Coriandrum sativum), Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis), sweet fennel (Foeniculum vulgare var. dulce), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and more.
