APPLICATION -- Replaces CUMMINS Tool Number 3164001. Works on Cummins ISX, Cummins Signature Engines. FUNCTION -- Use this tool kit to check if the combustion gas leaks back through the injector rail check valve or other conditions that will allow gas leakage through the injector into the fuel rail.. HOW IT WORKS-- Plug in the tube to fitting, then install the injector leak test kit in place of the rear fuel-metering actuator. Connect to the manometer or insert the tube into a container with water, observe if the manometer pressure changes or bubbles coming out the water, the injector leaks when it does change or have bubbles..
