Heavier weight makes the bulkhead connector much stronger than steels. 【Perfect Thread】More advanced production process ensures the clarity of the thread. Clear threads are better at preventing leaks. For better sealing, we recommend using Teflon tape for NPT fittings. 【Thick Enough 】The wall is thick enough to keep the fitting from breaking at -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F). 1200 psi maximum working pressure. Note: NPT thread size does not actual diameter, it is only nominal pipe size. 1/4” NPT size = actual 0.54”(about 1/2”) diameter. 【Wide Application】Female coupler for connecting NPT fittings through a bulkhead. Our 1/4 brass bulkhead fittings are suitable for piping connections, compressed air, hydraulics, LP and natural gases, grease, refrigeration, instrumentation, etc. Also as a garden use for water towers, water tanks, water inlet and outlet, self-made water storage barrels, rain barrels
